The Ride began as a concept to vary how we sit and share space. The ride developed into a unique structure visually light in weight expressing a simplicity of form and balance.

Ride Classic, Ride Personalised, Ride Special

Classic: The Classic has a leather seat pad, colours include, Deep Red, Chocolate Brown, Black, and Deep Space Black (a non reflecting black nubuck.) All have a polished stainless steel frame.

Personalised: The Personalised Ride is available in a varied range of leather and fabric seat colours and stitch finish. Our workshop can produce a wide variety of frame colours and finishes, please see picture references. The Personalised Ride is also available for outdoor use utilizing a yachting leather and waterproof fabric.

Ride Special: The Ride Special is where collaboration takes place. Full design variations can be made from redesigning the seat to making special frame alterations.

All chairs are numbered and come with a certificate of authentication and an information booklet

The Ride has three main beneficial ergonomic points of difference to conventional seating.

With tilted pelvis, hip widening and angled thighs, the Ride encourages good spine alignment and healthy blood flow.

‘The Ride’ creates a 110° trunk/thigh angle, the pelvis is tilted forward and the
spine adopts a correct alignment. The Ride also helps open up the hips
encouraging lymph flow and blood circulation to the pelvic and thigh area.

The Ride can take a weight of over 200kg enabling it to be shared by two people of average weight.

The leather we use for our Classic range is from the UK. The Hides are from traceable grass fed cattle. The tannery operates at 0 carbon.
The metal frames are hand made and hand finished in the UK.

The Ride conforms to BSI Fire safety regulations and is currently being tested to
EN16139.2013 contract furniture standards.
